From Summer to Winter Overnight
Thursday, June 18, 2009, 2:49 PM

I'm going to Tasmania tonight and was supposed to go to Melbourne as well. I don't think I'm going Melbourne already cos of the H1N1 ordeal. But come to think of it, I'm still going to transit in Melbourne airport. And when I come back I will be on the same plane as those who visited Melbourne. See the point? So anyway, I'll try to pester the MOH aka my father to still go to Melbourne. If not I'll be bored to death with no shopping.

I'm going to start packing now. Yes, I'm leaving tonight and I haven't done anything. Why must it be winter in Aussie?? So many things to bring...so depressing.

Alright now, imma hustle!

Nobody not even those

Woots! I won't do the sorry-for-the-lack-of-updates shit cos my mode of updating now is twitter! Twitter has turn me into one very lazy blogger. Wait, am I even a blogger in the first place?? -_-

So for the past month, I had my share of ups and downs. The ups I would definitely remember and the downs..nah, don't want to even think about it again cos i became a very angry person at that point. Not dwelling on it further.

Besides that, I have also turned into ebony. (Read: dark) It's the aftermath of not one but TWO Sentosa trips in a week. My skin was peeling like how you would peel the skin off a chicken wing. Okay, I was exaggerating :p

Omg. This I have to blog about. I am so sick that we're now living with a hell load of foreigners. Especially the pinoys and the china people. They can eat shit for all I care. Pinoy men are disgusting and the women are so noisy. On the other hand, China people..I don't understand a single shit coming out from their mouth and they suck at customer service. For example last night, I was at ECP's McD. I saw a guy at a counter manipulating the monitor. He was still in his McD uniform. So I asked mayonaise from him. You know what he said? "I off." (Please imagine it with a china accent.) And he points to his colleague and was asking me to get mayonaise from his colleague. My goodness sake, it was just mayonaise and he could just easily get it for me. Easily as in the fridge that they store their mayonaise was freaking right behind him. He didn't even have to walk 2 steps for that matter. Even if you're "off", don't jolly well hang around at the counter and go hang out with your other china peeps somewhere else. So damn pissed with that China guy last night.

Anyhoo, this short 2 weeks break I might be fleeing somewhere. I won't disclose where I'm going yet till the day itself. We'll see the situation.

Till then, good night!

TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN

Seriously, go and see the freaking doctor and he'll prescribe some meds so you will get better and stop asking me questions about your stupid damn sore throat/cough. It pisses me off when people ask me what you do to cure a sore throat. I mean, don't they go to the doctor at least once in your life for a sore throat?? Everyone knows what to expect when they go and see a doctor for a sore throat. Oh my God, I am raging at 3.30 in the morning!

It is such a turn off when guys say that they can be taken care of the minute they know that you're in nursing. I have tolerated this nonsense for a while now until someone annoys me with a how-to-cure-a-sore-throat shit. Seriously?! Why not you just slit your throat and die so you won't have a freaking sore throat anymore for the rest of your lives? I know it's harsh but it's freaking annoying me to the core and Ive been giving the same reply so many times. Please, go and see the doctor for God's sake.

Ergh!

School has been draining me out every single day. I knocked out everywhere be it on the way to school or going back home. I haven't got used to waking up early for classes. My body clock is screwed.

Met up with Azie and Aziela last week to get our dreams fulfilled. Haha! Aziela and myself got ourselves a new bling and I love it! Aziela on the other hand had her piercing covered up cos it was bleeding. It was so funny. It was a lazy Wednesday for all of us and we just chilled and talked about our past, present and future. I really treasure them alot cos they were the first real friends that I ever had. Kudos to our 14 years of friendship! (And still counting...)

Partied with Crystal and Lynn on the eve of MayDay. The place was a so-so for me but I still had a great time with them. I think that last minute plans works best for all of us. By the time I got home, I was super worn out and went straight to sleep. Woke up at 6pm the next day and went out for a midnight movie. Caught Jangan Tegur. It was super scary balls! But it was a good movie nevertheless.

I have to go and get ready already. Wanna check out the Nixon showcase at Tangs. And maybe some car-ok sessions! Hahah!

Right As Rain

Trust me, I am super bored to the core. Nothing much is happening with me right now. Everyday is so mundane. Wake up in the late afternoon, eat (that is if there's food at home), watch TV (that is if there're good programmes on TV), sloth, online till wee hours, sleep and the whole cycle just repeats itself. School's gonna start on Monday and I'm going to have trouble sleeping early the night before.

Oh, speaking of school. I'm gonna be in year 3 and that sucks big time. My last year in poly and I have no idea how year 3 is going to treat me. PRCP at the end of this year and eventually becoming a registered staff nurse. Shoot, that scares the shit out of me. I am going to become a working adult soon. Why adult? Cos I'm turning 21 this October. Yikes!

P.S. I'm twittering! Follow me at tilthedawn.

My sister got hitched!
Thursday, April 02, 2009, 3:07 PM

Last weekend was significant. My sister got married. It was a 3-day-3-night event and it was an awesome and cool wedding. It started off with Friday night whereby they were solemnized. When Fariq's entourage came and my sister came out from her room, I couldn't recognize her. She looked different and pretty. Honestly, I teared a little when she came out. Soon after the Tok Kadi came and I remember I stood behind my sister feeling all the jitters. Alhamdulillah, all went well and they were solemnized.

Yay!

And so it was end of day 1 and I was feeling so tired already.

On Saturday, was supposed to wake up early to run errands still but couldn't. In the end I got ready kinda late. When Huda and Azrika came, I was still not ready yet. Anyway, Saturday was the sanding and it was busy yet fun. Most of my friends came and I did not take a single picture with them. Yes I was an idiot like that. Pfft! The best part of this day was all the different kinds of "ERP" the guys' side had to go through. Too bad Naz and Ilah came down late, if not we would have made a good "ERP". Hahah. Apart from all those, there were other good surprises as well.

I like this picture.

And this too..

I think Fariq sabo-ed him to do this. It was hilarious.

And the friends sabo-ed Fariq and my sister to dance.

At about 4pm we went over to the guys side at Pasir Ris. Lucky I refused to drive cos I would feel tired for sure. Over at Pasir Ris, Fariq sang for my sister and they had to dance. It was so funny. On a more touching note, they expressed their love for each other which made me teared a little. Heh. Went back to Jurong West and at this time I swear, I just want to knock out.

2 down, 1 more day to go.

Sunday was the best of all eventhough there was some glitch here and there. It was held at Raffles Marina and to hold a wedding there, it's so beautiful. Everyone came in their cocktail best. Girls with their dresses and guys in their suits. It was all glitz and glamour including the makciks. And to add to the glitz and glamour, the couple together with the bridesmaid and best men came in a boat. It was the coolest thing. Plus, the guys including the groom had their shades on. Haha, just what I've imagined a year ago when we were planning the wedding.

Actually, the reception should be held outdoors. Kinda like a garden wedding theme but the weather didn't permit us to hold it outdoors. Everywhere near Tuas was raining but the rain didn't even reach Tuas. Pfft! We had no choice but to go to the ballroom. But it was still good anyways. Over at the ballroom, the couple had a rockstar march in. They marched in to Starlight by Muse. See, another cool thing. Heh.

Photobucket
I think my sister was rocking out to starlight.
Photobucket
I'm so loving this picture.
Photobucket
We rocked too!

I totally kicked ass. Hahah

All the single ladies wanting to catch the bouquet.

In fact, I have videos too but too lazy to upload them here. Go to my facebook for the videos and more pictures.

Overall, it was the best wedding. I didn't run errands for nothing and the tiredness I felt really pays off. In the end, I got a brother-in-law which is an another cool thing. I spend quite alot on grooming myself in preparation to the wedding. From the accessories, to the haircut, the outfit, shoes and make-up. Despite having eyebags and menses I still managed to look alright and I think I did a good job running around in my 5.5 inches heels. It was no easy task chasing the boys and going up and down the stairs in those heels. The fun part about this wedding was the endless photos we took be it formal or candid. But most of it was candid and again, it was cool.

To my sister and Fariq, congratulations on finding each other. You guys made me see what true love is and I'm very happy for you guys. Hope ya'll have a blissful marriage that will last forever. Insya'Allah.

XOXO
Syasya

After this entry, I will be busy till the end of March. So, see you!
